Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Usage and Synthesis.

Moxifloxacin hydrochloride is used for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, and acute sinusitis caused by S. aureus, S. influenzae, S. pneumoniae, S. mucosae, and S. pneumoniae.

Moxifloxacin tablets are used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria in adults (≥18 years of age): e.g. acute bacterial sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia. Photosensitivity/phototoxicity: After application of moxifloxacin hydrochloride, prolonged overexposure to sunlight and ultraviolet radiation may result in moderately severe photosensitivity reactions in the skin, which are mainly manifested as burning sensation, blisters, erythema and oedema.

Therefore, avoid overexposure to light and take protective measures (wearing sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.) during the medication period, and discontinue the medication immediately and seek prompt medical attention if photosensitivity reaction occurs.

Pharmacological Effects of Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride.

The mechanism of action and in vitro antibacterial spectrum of moxifloxacin hydrochloride are similar to those of other fluoroquinolones, but the antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria is similar to that of trovafloxacin (trovafloxacin) and is superior to that of some of the older species. Fewer Gram-positive bacteria are resistant to moxifloxacin hydrochloride or resistance develops very slowly compared to other fluoroquinolones, and cross-resistant organisms have been found in Gram-negative organisms and enterococci in comparison to other fluoroquinolones.

However, it is effective against at least Staphylococcus aureus isolate beads grlA, grlB, gyrA or gyrB. 0.5-2mg/L of this product can inhibit ciprofloxacin-resistant S. aureus, which are ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, levofloxacin, sparfloxacin, moxifloxacin, according to MIC in order from the largest to the smallest.
