Preparation method of Chamomile Extract.

Take 5.0kg of dried chamomile flowers, add 12 times distilled water, heat reflux extraction for 3 times, 1.5h each time, filter, combine the extraction solution, spin steam to 1mL solution containing 1g crude drug, add 95% ethanol, alcohol precipitation, so that the alcohol content of the solution reaches 60%, stand for 48h, filter, spin steam, and dry at 60℃ to obtain chamomile extract powder. Pharmacological action of Chamomile Extract.

1. Spasmolytic effect

Chamomile decoction can inhibit the constriction of isolated intestinal tube of rabbit and isolated bronchus of guinea pig, and reduce tracheal secretions. The extract apiin and apigenin have moderate spasmolysis effect on smooth muscle.

2. Anti-inflammatory effect Lanxiang oil has antibacterial effect, and chamomile volatile oil also has certain bactericidal effect.

3. On blood vessels and their effects

Chamomile extract can shrink blood vessels of lower limbs of toad; It has the effect of postponing pressure raising in rabbits. It has antipyretic effect on rabbits with fever. It can promote the healing of mouse ulcer and enhance the function of rabbit reticuloendothelial system.

4. Cholesterol-lowering effect

Chamomile extract can significantly reduce blood pressure and blood lipids in rats fed for 4 weeks, which are related to the large amount of flavonoids contained in the water-soluble extract of chamomile.

5. Bacteriostasis
