Distilled Monoglyceride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Glyceryl monostearate is a common emulsifier widely used in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and detergent industries. Due to the interaction between monoglycerides and fats, it can promote the generation of its crystalline form, with the effect of improving the ductility, esterification and water absorption of plastic fats and preventing splattering during the heating process, etc., and has been used in the production of margarine, shortening, mayonnaise, seasoning and other special fats and oils.

Glycerol monostearate interacts with gluten proteins to form a symmetrical complex of a protein-like lipid-protein and a starch-like lipid-protein, thus enhancing gluten quality. At the same time, or lactic acid monoglycerides, monoglycerides citrate, monoglycerides deuterate, diethylphthalate tartaric acid monoglycerides and other series of emulsifiers of the mother; monoglycerides can be added to improve the flavour of food and its functionality. In polyethylene processing, monoglycerides are used as internal lubricants, which can promote the smooth progress of gelation and improve fluidity.
