Strontium carbonate is used in the manufacture of color TV cathode ray tube, electromagnet, strontium ferrite, pyrotechnics, fluorescent glass, flare, etc. It is also the raw material for the production of other strontium salts, and is used as the base powder for the production of special PTC thermistor elements. Crude strontium carbonate slurry with water, add hydrochloric acid to adjust the slurry to pH3, at a temperature of 90 ~ 100 ℃ after 2 ~ 3h, add barium removal agent to remove barium, and then ammonia to adjust the slurry to pH6.8 ~ 7.2 in addition to impurities, filtration of the filtrate with ammonium bicarbonate or ammonium carbonate solution precipitation out of strontium carbonate, and then filtered to remove the ammonium chloride solution, the filter cake after drying, to produce strontium carbonate finished products
