Ferric Sulfate Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Polymerized ferrous sulfate (PFS) is an inorganic polymer flocculant formed by inserting hydroxyl groups into the reticulation structure of the ferrous sulfate molecular family, which can effectively remove suspended solids, organics, sulfides, nitrites, colloids and metal ions in water.

Ferrous sulfate polymerization has the functions of deodorization, emulsion breaking and sludge dewatering, etc. It also has a better removal effect on planktonic microorganisms.PFS treatment of oily wastewater is far more effective than ferrous sulfate, and less corrosive to the metal equipment, but it produces a larger amount of sludge and colorful effluent.

Uses of Ferric Sulfate.

Used in the analysis of silver and the timedetermination of sugar. Formulation of modified White's medium in haploid breeding, analysis of silver, determination of carbon, dyes, inks, water purification, disinfection, polymerization catalysts.

Used as iron salt inorganic polymer flocculant, mainly used in urban drinking water, industrial water supply.

Used in the production of pigments, drugs, and used as a mordant, water purification agent.
