Uses of gluconolactone.

Product Method of Bulk gluconolactone Powder.
The raw material calcium gluconate is first hydrolysed with sulphuric acid to obtain gluconic acid solution. After filtration to remove calcium sulfate precipitation, the solution is then refined with barium hydroxide and oxalic acid, and settled and separated to remove SO42- and Ca2+ from the solution.
The gluconic acid solution is then further purified by ion exchange resin. Concentrate the solution to 80%-85% concentration, add gluconic acid-δ-lactone crystal seed, continue to concentrate and crystallise, centrifugal separation, washing and drying to get the finished product.
