Sesamin Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Sesamin is a natural ingredient contained in sesame seeds, which contains about 0.3-0.5% sesamin. Sesquiterpenes have excellent antioxidant effects, anti-aging, blood lipid regulation, liver protection, lowering blood pressure, anti-cancer, regulating immunity, hair darkening and many other physiological effects. In human trials, it has been proved that sesamin can be transported to the liver, metabolised into antioxidant substances in the liver, the antioxidant effect is stronger than vitamin E!

Uses of Sesamin.

Sesquiterpenes are known to regulate blood pressure and blood lipids, protect and strengthen liver function, antioxidant and tumour inhibitor.

Preparation of  Bulk Sesamin Powder.

Measure 1L of sesame oil foot (965.8g), add 4L of anhydrous ethanol, stirring at 30 ℃ for 5h, static stratification, take the upper layer of the clear liquid, rotary evaporation to obtain sesquiterpene enrichment;

To sesquiterpene enrichment add anhydrous methanol, sesquiterpene enrichment and anhydrous methanol material-liquid ratio of 1:4 (kg / L), at 55 ℃ under the leaching of 3h, to get the leaching solution;

Add activated carbon to the leaching solution, the amount of activated carbon is 1% of the mass of the leaching solution, stirring for 0.5h, and then filtered to obtain the sesquiterpene extract;

Slowly cooling sesamin extract to -10 ℃, so that sesamin crystallisation, crystallisation 2h, filtering to get sesamin crude product;

To the crude sesamin add petroleum ether, sesamin crude and petroleum ether material-liquid ratio of 1:1 (kg / L), 35 ℃ closed mixing 0.5h, filtration to get the crude sesamin products;

Sesquiterpene crude product dissolved in anhydrous ethanol, sesquiterpene crude product and anhydrous ethanol material-liquid ratio of 1:30 (kg / L), at -5 ℃ under the crystallisation and purification, the time to maintain 3 hours, under these conditions after 2 times of crystallisation, vacuum drying to obtain sesquiterpene products 2.16g, sesquiterpene extraction rate of 89.1%, the purity of the sesquiterpene products obtained is 92.1%.
