Product details
Sodium saccharin is the synthetic sweetener commonly used in the food industry and has the longest history of use, but it is also the most controversial synthetic sweetener. Sodium saccharin is 300-500 times sweeter than sucrose and is not broken down in living organisms and is excreted by the kidneys.
However, it is not highly toxic, and the controversy is mainly over its carcinogenicity. Recent studies have shown that the carcinogenicity of saccharin may not be caused by saccharin, but is related to sodium ions and high proteinuria in rats. The anion of saccharin may act as a carrier of sodium ions and lead to changes in the physiological properties of urine.
Uses of Saccharin Sodium powder.
1, food: general cold drinks, beverages, jellies, popsicles, sauces, preserves, pastries, cold fruits, meringue and so on. Applied to the food industry and diabetic patients for sweetening diet, commonly used synthetic sweeteners.

Pharmacological effect of Saccharin Sodium powder.
Product method of Bulk Saccharin Sodium powder.
By chlorosulfonation of toluene with chlorosulfonic acid, o-toluene sulfonyl chloride in oil form and crystalline p-toluene sulfonyl chloride as a by-product are obtained, which is separated and oxidised with ammonia to obtain saccharin, which is then alkalised by sodium hydroxide.
