Product details
Nobiletin, a citrus flavonoid isolated from the peel of citrus fruits, such as oranges, has anti-inflammatory and antitumor activities.
Nobiletin, a polymethoxyflavonoid, inhibits NO and O. In an artificial matrilayer model, nobiletin inhibits the tumor invasion activity of human fibrosarcoma HT-1080 cells not only by inhibiting the expression of MMPs, but also by interfering with the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase pathway (PI3-K) to increase the production of TIMP-1.
Nobiletin may also prevent atherosclerosis at the vascular wall level by inhibiting the formation of macrophage sponge cells.
Uses of Nobiletin.
Nobiletin has anti-hemagglutination, anti-thrombosis, anti-cancer, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-cancer, anti-mutagenic, anti-allergic, anti-ulcer, analgesic, hypotensive activity, and cholesterol-lowering effects.
Pharmacological Action of Nobiletin.
Nobiletin is a polymethoxylated flavonoid found in some citrus fruits and has multiple pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and neuroprotective properties.
A research team led by the Heart Institute at the University of Ottawa in Canada found through mouse experiments that nobiletin can offset the adverse effects of a high-fat diet, thereby improving metabolic disorders and preventing postprandial hyperlipidemia.
Previous epidemiological studies have shown that the higher the intake of flavonoids, the lower the cardiovascular risk. Therefore, nobiletin should also have the effect of reducing the risk of disease.
It has anti-hemagglutination, anti-thrombosis, anti-cancer, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-cholinesterase and anti-epileptic effects, and is a carbohydrate metabolism promoter.
