Gastrodin powder Usage and Synthesis.

Gastrodin can be hydrolyzed with amygdalin to obtain p-hydroxymethylbenzene aglycone. It can restore the imbalance between the excitation and inhibition processes of the cerebral cortex, has good antihypertensive, sedative and hypnotic effects, has a certain effect on neurasthenia, insomnia and headache, can also dilate blood vessels, improve myocardial microcirculation, relieve cerebral vasospasm, increase myocardial nutritional blood flow and improve oxygen supply capacity.
