Acacia Gum Usage and Function.

Thickener; Stabilizer; Emulsifier.

According to GB2760-86, it can be used as thickener in beverage, chocolate, ice cream and jam, and the maximum dosage is 0.5-5.0g/kg.

According to the provisions of FAO/WHO (1984), the uses and limits are as follows: canned green and yellow beans, sweet corn, mushrooms, asparagus, green peas, etc. 10g/kg (alone or in combination with other thickening agents, the product contains cream or other fats and oils); processed cheese manufacturing 8g/kg (alone or in combination with other thickening agents); pickle 500g/kg (alone or in combination with other co-solvents and dispersing agents); carrot 500g/kg (alone or with other solvents and dispersing agents); carrot 500g/kg (alone or with other solvents and other solvents and dispersing agents). dispersing agents); 10g/kg for canned carrots (alone or in combination with other thickening agents); 5g/kg for whipped cream (alone or in combination with other thickening and modifying agents, used only for pasteurized whipped cream or guandan ultra-high-temperature sterilized whipped cream and sterilized whipped cream); and 10g/kg for cold beverages (in terms of the final product, alone or in combination with other emulsifiers, stabilizers and thickening agents).
