Amprolium Hydrochloride Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Amprolium Hydrochloride is used in chickens, rabbits, calves and lambs and is effective against Eimeria soft and stacked coccidia in chickens and against coccidia in lambs and calves. It is suitable for use in combination with other drugs to make water-soluble bulk or premix, and is the main anticoccidial drug for laying hens. 

Amprolium Hydrochloride Powder can be used in combination with other drugs to expand the anticoccidial spectrum and enhance the effect of anticoccidials. 

Amprolium Hydrochloride Raw Materials and sulfaquinoxaline also have good inhibitory effect on concurrent bacterial infections, which is a kind of anticoccidial drug widely used at present.

Uses and functions of Amprolium Hydrochloride Powder.

Anti-coccidial drug, with good effect and low residue, it can prevent and treat chicken coccidiosis and promote growth. Used in chicken feed, the dosage is 62.5-125g/t. Usually it can also be mixed with phenylmethyl acetamide 125:8 to form a two-combination agent, the dosage is (62.5+4-125+8)g/t, the withdrawal period is 7 days, prohibited in egg-laying period. Mixed with phenylmethyl acetoxamide and sulfaquinoxaline at 100:5:60 to form a triple combination, the maximum dosage is (100+5+60)g/t, prohibited during laying period, with a withdrawal period of 7 days.

Pharmacological Effects of Amprolium Hydrochloride Powder.

White or off-white powder, odorless or almost odorless. Soluble in water, methanol or ethanol, slightly soluble in ether, insoluble in chloroform. Aqueous solution (1+10) PH is 2.5-3.0. Mixed in feed, especially decompose slowly under neutral condition, decompose when heated to 248-249℃.

Production method of Amprolium Hydrochloride Powder.

Take the intermediate of producing vitamin B1 as raw material, through cyclization, hydrolysis to open the ring, then through diazotization to make the amino group transformed into hydroxyl group, and finally through the condensation and obtained.
