Losartan Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker and a antihypertensive drug. Its antihypertensive effect is mainly through blocking the angiotensin II receptor subtype AT1 in tissues, and more fully and effectively blocking the water and sodium retention, vascular constriction and tissue remodeling effects of angiotensin II. It is clinically suitable for hypertensive patients with insulin resistance, diabetes, cardiac insufficiency, heart failure, myocardial infarction, and can prevent the progression of kidney disease and reduce proteinuria, but it is prohibited for pregnant women.
