Morin Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Sangwangin is a flavonoid compound mainly found in the medicinal fungus, Morus alba.Mulberry flavin has a variety of biological activities, such as anti-tumour, anti-angiogenesis,anti-mutagenesis, hypoglycemia, hypolipidemia, enhancement of body immunity, and antioxidant effects.

In in vitro experiments, mulberry flavin can inhibit the migration of vascular endothelial cells and angiogenesis, with anti-angiogenic effects.

In addition, mulberry flavin can bind to peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ),activate the PPARγ signalling pathway, increase the expression of related genes and inhibit angiogenesis.

Therefore, mulberry flavin has potential application value in the treatment of tumours, diabetes,cardiovascular diseases and so on. In addition, mulberry flavin can also be used as a natural

antioxidant with the role of protecting human health.

Uses of Morin.

Preparation of Morin.

1) Preparation of seed liquid: take a good growth of mulberry yellow plate, with a sterilised punch, hit the diameter of 0.5cm growth of consistent bacterial cake 5, added to the 250mL triangular flask containing 100mL of liquid medium, constant temperature 28 ℃, speed 180r/min,cultivation for 7 days, and then with a high-speed homogenizer mycelium ball broken, the production of seed liquid;

Among them, Sanghwang was purchased from the Strain Preservation Centre of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, No. ATCC36121. the liquid medium consisted of the following

components: glucose 20 g, potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.46 g, dipotassium hydrogen phosphate 1 g, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 0.5 g, peptone 2 g, yeast powder 2 g and

deionised water 1 L;

(2) Fermentation culture: the seed solution was inoculated into a fermenter at an inoculum amount of 10% by volume, and the fermenter was filled with a volume of 4.5L, and then cultured

at 28°C, 180r/min, and aeration of 0.6vvm for 8 days to obtain the fermentation solution;

(3) Filtration: the fermentation broth was filtered through filter paper to remove mycelium balls to obtain the fermentation filtrate, and the concentration of mulberry flavin in this fermentation

filtrate was 6.78 mg/mL;

(4) Adsorption: adjust the pH of the fermentation filtrate to 5, and then add the macroporous resin, and shake at 20℃, 150r/min for 24h, at which time the adsorption equilibrium was reached;

in which the ratio relationship between the fermentation filtrate and the macroporous resin was 1mL:4g; the macroporous resin was ADS-17;

(5) Resolution: The macroporous resin with adsorption equilibrium was filtered, and after washing the sample solution on the surface, it was put into a container, and 70% by volume ethanol

solution was added, and it was shaken under the condition of 20 ℃ and 150 r/min for 24h, at which time it reached the complete resolution, and then the resolving solution was concentrated

and purified to produce mulberry flavonoid.
