Enrofloxacin Powder Usage and Synthesis.

Enrofloxacin and salafloxacin, dafloxacin, difloxacin, ofloxacin, norfloxacin, orbifloxacin is the third generation of fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antimicrobial drugs commonly used in veterinary clinics, for the ethyl compound of ciprofloxacin, also known as ethyl ciprofloxacin, ethyl ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, is effective against Gram-negative, Gram-positive and mycobacterial forms, and its antimicrobial activity is significantly superior to norfloxacin. Its antibacterial activity is significantly better than that of norfloxacin, and its effect on mycobacteria is stronger than that of tylosin and tamoxifen.

The product is easily absorbed by internal administration, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection, widely distributed in the body, except for the central nervous system, the drug concentration in other tissues is almost always higher than the blood concentration.

In the body can be deethylated, mainly produce active metabolite ciprofloxacin, but the interspecies differences in the metabolism of the animal body, the metabolism rate in the body of the poultry, dogs, rabbits, cattle is high, the metabolism rate in the body of the horse, swine is lower.

Clinical enrofloxacin is mainly used for the treatment of respiratory, digestive, genitourinary infections, skin infections and septicaemia caused by a variety of mycobacteriosis, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Dengue bacillus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and so on. Uses and functions of Enrofloxacin.

Enrofloxacin is a new type of veterinary antimicrobial drug with broad-spectrum and very high antimicrobial effect, which is effective against gram-positive and negative bacteria and mycoplasma.

It is suitable for piglets with white diarrhoea, yellow diarrhoea, oedematous E. coli, paratyphoid fever in piglets, porcine pneumonic disease, dengue, mycoplasma pneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, endemic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, enteritis, diarrhoea, uterine infections, streptococcus, etc.

Preparations of Enrofloxacin.

(1)Enrofloxacin hydrochloride soluble powder:100g contains 2.5g.

(2) Enrofloxacin solution: 100ml containing 2.5g, 5.0g, 10.0g.

(3) Enrofloxacin injection: 10 ml containing 50 mg, 10 ml containing 250 mg, 100 ml containing 0.5 g, 1.0 g, 2.5 g, 5.0 g.

Caveat of  Bulk Enrofloxacin Powder.

1.The aqueous solution of enrofloxacin is easily discoloured and decomposed when exposed to light, and should be stored away from light.

2.The drug-resistant strains of this product are on the increase, and should not be used for a long time under subtherapeutic dose.

3.Acid suppressants can inhibit the absorption of the product, should be avoided at the same time drinking.

4.Clinical application can be adjusted according to the appropriate dose of the disease, poultry drinking water concentration range, per litre of drinking water, add 25 to 100 mg.

5.The rest period for chickens is 8 days. Prohibited during laying period of laying hens.

6.Chickens are very sensitive to enrofloxacin injection, there have been a number of reports of poisoning in the country, the dose should be strictly controlled
