Product details
The β-lactam structure of ceftriaxone acts on the carboxypeptidase, peptide chain endonuclease and transpeptidase of the bacterial cytoplasmic membrane, which are all involved in cell synthesis and cell division, and through these lead to cell wall defects and cell death, inhibiting the synthesis of mucopeptides in the bacterial cell wall to achieve the therapeutic effect, and it has achieved a good therapeutic effect in the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections, skin tissues, urinary tract infection, bone and joint infections, as well as bacterial septicemia conditions.
It is used for lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract and biliary tract infections caused by sensitive causative organisms, as well as abdominal infections, pelvic infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, septicaemia, meningitis, etc. and prophylaxis of infections during surgery.
Uses and functions of Ceftriaxone Sodium.
For the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gonorrhoea and pre-operative infection prevention.
Pharmacodynamics of Ceftriaxone Sodium.
Ceftriaxone is a third generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It has strong activity against Enterobacteriaceae bacteria. The MIC90 for Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Flouraudi citrobacter, indole-positive Aspergillus, Prevotella spp. and Serratia spp. is between 0.12 and 0.25 mg/L.
Enterobacter cloacae, Enterobacteriaceae spp. and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were poorly susceptible to the product. It has strong antibacterial effect on Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis, and also has good effect on Streptococcus haemolyticus and Pneumococcus.
The MIC for Staphylococcus aureus is 2-4mg/L. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus are resistant to the product. The majority of S. fragilis are resistant to this product.
Product method of Bulk Ceftriaxone Sodium Powder.
A method for producing ceftriaxone sodium with low impurities, comprising the following steps:
(1) Reacting 7-ACA with triazine ring in acetonitrile solution, catalysed by boron trifluoride acetonitrile solution, at room temperature, adjusting the pH to weak acidity by dropwise addition of triethylamine, until the solid precipitates, washing and drying, to obtain 7-ACT;
(2) Take 7-ACT prepared in step (1) as raw material, add triethylamine and aminothiazoxime dropwise, and react at low temperature to obtain ceftriaxone sodium crude salt;
(3) The crude salt of ceftriaxone sodium prepared in step (2) is ground and sieved to obtain fine crystals of ceftriaxone sodium, and the fine crystals of ceftriaxone sodium are added to an aqueous solution of acetone, dissolved by constant temperature stirring, and then activated charcoal is added, stirred at room temperature, filtered, and solvents are added by streaming to precipitate the crystals, and the crystals are raised, and filtered and washed and dried, and the ceftriaxone sodium with low impurities is obtained.
