Chloroxylenol Powder is a preservative and fungicide. It is used to prevent mold and is also an antimicrobial agent. Antiseptic (topical and urinary).Chloroxylenol is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial compound used against bacteria, algae, fungi and viruses.

Chloroxylenol Powder is colorless crystal. Melting point 115-116℃, boiling point 246℃. 1g at 20℃ is soluble in 3L water, soluble in 1 part 95% alcohol, soluble in ether, benzene, terpenes, non-volatile oils and sodium hydroxide solution. Slight phenolic odor, can evaporate with water vapor. Stable in hot water.

Chloroxylenol Powder is used as a preservative and fungicide. It is applied in emulsions, cosmetics, inks, plywood, plastics, as antifungal agent for plastics, especially for hard and semi-rigid PVC sheets, artificial leather, etc. Good heat resistance and weather resistance, low water extraction, strong persistence in resin, general dosage 2%. The product is low toxic. The oral LD50 in mice is 3450mg/kg.
